Why We Brew
Beyond exceptional Colombian specialty coffee, we craft experiences. Each sip carries the richness of Colombia’s coffee terroir and the untold stories of the hands that shaped it. We source only ethically traded, small-batch beans, honouring tradition while redefining the future—one sip, one cup, one farmer, one story at a time.
With every bag you purchase, 87¢ goes directly to our Coffee Development Fund, supporting young and women coffee farmers in Colombia through education, fair pay, and sustainable practices.
How It Works
-
1. Choose Your Coffee
Explore single-origin varieties from Colombia's finest farms.
-
2. Roasted Fresh
We roast in small batches in Montréal to guarantee fresh coffee always.
-
3. Sip & Connect
Every cup supports Colombian farmers through our 87¢ Coffee Development Fund.
Before You Order
Is your coffee sold whole bean or ground?
All our coffees are sold as whole beans. This gives you the freedom to grind them according to your preferred brewing method — espresso, pour-over, French press, Aeropress, or drip. Premium specialty coffee is always best enjoyed freshly ground, as grinding just before brewing preserves the full complexity of aromas and flavours that make each cup exceptional.
How long does delivery take?
Once your order is shipped, delivery takes between 1 and 5 business days across Canada. Please note that we roast in small batches to guarantee freshness, so your order may take a few additional days before shipping. We ship to all provinces and territories across Canada.
How do you guarantee the quality of your coffee?
Quality is a practice at 87plus. We start at the source — selecting only the best beans and partnering with farms built for the long game, producers who share our obsession with excellence. We work with reliable, efficient logistics partners to ensure every bean arrives at our Montréal roastery in perfect condition.
Then the craft begins. We roast in small, carefully controlled batches, running multiple roasting tests and cupping sessions until every roast curve is exactly right.
We listen too. Our customers are part of this journey — their feedback shapes how we refine and improve every coffee we bring to your cup.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your coffee. If you're not satisfied with your order, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll make it right. Reach us through our Contact page.
